Greetings heroes,

I hope you’ve all had a good week!

As per the last few updates, I have to remind those of you that haven’t completed their PM surveys yet to please do so before tomorrow evening. Around 70 of you have yet to submit their details and if we don’t have them then we’ll have a very hard time getting your game to you!

You have just over 24 hours to fill it out!

Vincent has finished all the cards and elements for the game including the Crisis and Mission cards. All that’s left is to finalise the book!

We’re also expecting the test prints for the models some time soon.

Greetings Heroes,

First things first: For those of you that haven’t yet filled out the PM, this is your one week warning ! The PM will be closing on the 15th! Failure to complete the PM is going to make getting your rewards to you much more complicated! So please fill it out as soon as possible. As per usual feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Vincent has finished the art for the last stretch goal we unlocked during the PM. On their own these items are a bit lack luster, providing only one green cube when used. Together they are much more powerful however as they allow you to attempt to seal the gate for free!

Finally I apologize for not including the rules PDF in this update. I’ve been rather ill this past week and so am behind on a few things. I hope to have it with you for the next update.

Greetings Heroes,

First of all, I hope you all had splendid holidays. The team took a short break over the past week or so but now we’re back to business!

The Pledge Manager

Everything is going smoothly and currently 85% of you have completed your surveys. You still have over two weeks to complete it however, don’t hesitate to do it sooner rather than later! As always, should you have any questions please feel free to contact us!

However, as you may know we opened the PM to late backers and I’m happy to say that we’ve had enough additional pledges to unlock the SG that was just out of our reach when the campaign ended!

Development

• As it stands all the content of the base box is finished. This includes the rulebook which I hope to show to you next week once we’ve finished rereading it.
• For the collector’s set: The models are currently undergoing preproduction and Vincent has started piecing the art book together.
• Stretch goals: Despite being on holiday, Vincent has still been working away and the majority should be finished by the end of next week, just like these corrupted monsters!

Production

No news as of yet apart from so far, so good. Once the elements are finalised and the PM finished we’ll have a much better idea of the exact schedule, which we’ll of course let you know post-haste!

All that’s left is for me to thank you all again for your support and wish you all the best in 2017 on behalf of Holy Grail and Mandoo Games!

Pledge Manager going live this weekend!

Further to the last update, the Pledge Manager should be going live over the weekend!

You’ll be receiving an invite which will be sent to the e-mail address associated with your Kickstarter account. If you use your Facebook login for your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey will be sent to the email you used for your Facebook account.

Please be aware that these invites can get caught by spam filters so be sure to check the necessary folders in your email client!

And now for a small word on everyone’s favourite topic: Shipping.

I’m glad to report that we are more or less on target for the prices announced during the campaign. Generally they have gone up by one or two euros to account for the extra materiel in the game and the estimated shipping price increases due to hit in January. For our Canadian and Australian backers, I’m afraid we did not have enough orders to get bulk shipping to your countries. Our apologies, we are at the whim of the global shipping industry and have to abide by its rules and prices.

This aside, for those of you purchasing multiple copies of the game you’ll find that, as promised, the shipping cost is exponentially cheaper for each copy after the first. The exception to this is for non- EU and non-US countries. The shipping cost for multiple copies to these locations is very hard to calculate so please message us before confirming your pledge and we will figure out your shipping costs on a person by person basis.

BackerKit; a Hero's Guide.

Season’s Greetings heroes,

As promised we have been fiddling around with the pledge manager the past few days in order to make sure that everything is correct and in order. It’s our first time programming this system so you’ll excuse us if we want to double, triple and quadruple check things. Not that the delay is a bad thing though as a PM normally runs for one month and leaving it till’ a tad later means that it won’t be ending (and therefore charging your card) until after the festive period. In any case it shouldn’t be much longer now so I thought today would be a good time to go through exactly what the pledge manager is and how to use it!

What is the Pledge Manager?

Well, now that the campaign is over and we’ve received the funds we have a big old list of people who have pledged but we don’t know exactly what they want nor where they want it sent and that’s what the PM is all about! We’ll be using a popular system called BackerKit for our PM.

You do not need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey, you just click on the survey link, fill it out, and you’re all good to go! You will be able to answer questions about your rewards preferences, pay and provide information for shipping, and pledge for “add-ons” if you'd like. You do not have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email! Those of you that pledged at 1€ will also receive this email and be able to upgrade to a full pledge level should you so wish.

You’ll have around one month to complete the survey. If you decide later that you want to edit your survey response, you can go back to your survey and change it any time before we lock down the surveys for processing. After this time you will still be able to access the page and modify your shipping details but the contents of your pledge will be final!

How does it work?

When you first click on the link you’ll be sent to this page:

It will show you the amount you’ve pledged and your selected pledge level. Should you wish to change your pledge level you can click on the “Want to Switch your pledge level” button. Note that you can downgrade your pledge but the different will not be refunded. It can however go towards shipping and add-ons. Also, if you have an Early bird pledge and you swap out you WILL NOT be able to recover it so choose carefully! Make sure that your country of shipping is correct and then hit the “Get Started!” button.

This first page will ask you whether you wish to receive the game in English or French. Make your choice and then click the “Next: Add-ons” button.

On the add-on page you can specify exactly which additional items you’d like to receive. You can click on “view” to see more details about each Item.

NOTE ON THE ORIGINALS: If you reserved an original during the campaign just go ahead and add this to your basket. If you didn’t reserve one but now wish to, please message us beforehand to make sure the one you want is still available!

You can see your basket on the right hand side of the page including shipping costs for your pledge and any add-ons.

When you’ve decided on your final pledge, hit the “Next” button.

Almost there! You enter your postal address here. Please make sure you input your full, real name as the postman may have difficulties finding you by your username! Same goes for your Telephone number.

When you hit next, the system will perform an address check before letting you proceed. Once it has confirmed your address, hit “Submit”.

You’ve arrived at the final page! Here you’ll see a recap of all the other information you’ve entered! Should there be any errors, be sure to correct it (via the “edit” buttons) before going any further.

Then all that’s left is to enter your credit card details. Payments will be handled by Strype, the same company that manages Kickstarter funds. Your card will be charged at the end of the PM.

Once you confirm everything your survey will be saved! Should you change your mind you will be able to come back and modify it before the end as noted above.

And that’s it! Quick, simple and intuitive! Should you have any questions or need assistance however there is a “Need Help?” button in the top right hand corner of the screen. You can also contact us here on Kickstarter should you so wish.

I’ll post another update just before the PM goes live to make sure you know it’s coming. I was thinking about doing this on Sunday but seeing as we’re away for a few days next week and it would be preferable to be here for the launch I think we’ll be throwing open the doors around next weekend.
