Greetings heroes,
So, the latest news for both boats is that all is proceeding as planned!
With all the games now on their way and on schedule I wanted to let you guys know about another project we currently have running: Outlaws – Last Man Standing
Outlaws – Last Man Standing is an intense 2 player game designed by Jeremy Pinget. In this political Mexican stand-off, you take on the role of a Governor in the Wild West attempting to outmanoeuvre their opponent and win the election by any means necessary.
Illustrated by Arnaud Demaegd, your Governor and his loyal supporters each have unique abilities which can be used to defeat your rival in one of three ways:
Outlaws is a presidential race where every vote counts. The Governor with the most votes when the election takes place wins. But it isn’t called the Wild West for nothing - anything could happen by election day!
Shady characters are everywhere in the West, and the rich and powerful aren’t above hiring them to do their dirty work. If a Hitman can eliminate the opposing governor with a well-placed shot, well, dead men can’t be President, it’s as simple as that.
Luckily, in a time of lawlessness there are still those that uphold justice. If a Sheriff can foil an assassination attempt and arrest the Hitman, his employer’s reputation will be left in tatters. A scandal will destroy a man just as surely as a bullet.
By moving your characters around, your aim is to discreetly discover where different items and characters are located, without revealing too much to your rival in the process…or at least, nothing that you don’t want them to know.
As the plot thickens and you locate your opponent’s key pieces you’ll be able to decide how you wish to take them down: Ballots, Bullets or Scandal…

So, the good news is that the ship bound for Europe, The URANUS, is now underway and scheduled to arrive on time!
The bad news is that we only just found out even though the ship sailed last week, so it’s further along than we thought! Does that constitute bad news? I’m not sure but we would have liked to bring you this news sooner!
We’ll let you know as the ships arrive at their respective ports!

A quick update to let you know that the EVER LIVING, current host to the Rising 5 games bound for the US, has set sale on time!
You can follow her on the Worldwide Marine Traffic Website (and for those of you don't know what a shipping lane looks like, this should be quite educational!).
We'll be sure to keep you appraised of when the ship bound for Europe sets out!

So, once again I’m happy to bring you glad tidings! Rising 5 is on the move! It has been for a week or two now but I wanted to get definitive confirmation of times to avoid any future disappointment. So, without further ado, here we go:
Shipping
United States and ROW
The ship carrying the games for Shipnaked will leave port on the 11thof September and will be arriving in the US on the 13th of October. Once under way I’ll be sure to pass on the tracking details of the ship so that you can follow its movements! It will then take about a week or so for the games to clear customs and arrive at the depot before shipping begins around the week of the 23rd, after which it will take a few days to send out all the copies.
Europe
The ship carrying the games for Philibert will leave port on the 14th of September and will be arriving in the US on the 8th of October. Once under way I’ll be sure to pass on the tracking details of the ship so that you can follow its movements! It will then take about a week or so for the games to clear customs and arrive at the depot before shipping begins around the week of the 16th after which it will take a few days to send out all the copies.
Asia and Pacific
Being a lot closer, your games have already arrived at the offices of our friends at Mandoo games! They will be dispatched this week so deliveries should start arriving pretty soon!
We’ll keep you guys updated of any developments but it should be pretty smooth sailing (pun intended)
Rising 5 earns the Dice Tower Seal of Approval!
The guys over at The Dice Tower have very kindly bestowed upon Rising 5: Runes of Asteros a Dice Tower Seal of Approval! They’ve had their eyes on the game for some time now so, outside of the winning the award, we’re very pleased that the game lived up to their expectations! Hopefully it will do so for all our backers too come October!
All our congratulations to Gary Kim, Evan Song and Vincent Dutrait for their success. A big thank you to Kevin Kichan Kim and Mandoo games for bringing us on board and brofists all around for the entire HGG team that worked on the project. This couldn’t have been done without every single one of you and looking at all the work that went in I’d say it was most definitely well deserved!
And, as always, a big thank you to all our backers who made it all happen!

Greetings Heroes !
A quick update as we are currently in the throes of one of the best events in the board gaming calendar: GENCON !
As well as demoing plenty of games (which we’ll talk about in more depth some other time) we also have a production copy of Rising 5!
We’re super happy to finally have this in our hands and are very pleased with how it has come out! If you’re at the event and would like to stop by and check it out for yourself then feel free!
Otherwise, we’ll be a bit slow responding to questions or messages this week due to the event but we will be back with you next week with the latest news about the game!
